Job summary

ExcelaCare is seeking a Training Coordinator to design and implement hospice training programs and deliver education to licensed staff and Supervisors. The role supports quality improvement and ensures compliance with Medicare/State guidelines through ongoing education and program audits.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years in hospice, along with RN licensure or equivalent credentialing, and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in hospice.
• RN license in state of practice; valid driver's license and auto insurance; no OIG exclusion; CHCE or equivalent licensure.

Responsibilities

• Develop hospice training programs and curricula.
• Deliver training to licensed staff and DHCS for hospice programs.
• Train supervisors and staff on new programs.
• Assist with HCHB/Point of Care training for personnel.
• Assist with corporate QI audits.
• Collect information for special projects as needed.
• Identify performance issues and work with leadership to resolve them.
• Analyze clinical operations to ensure standards are met.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
