Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Home Care Hospice Educator to lead the education program for home care, ensuring compliance with regulations and coordinating orientation, development, and integration of staff.

The educator will serve as the informatics liaison, teaching competency with Epic, LMS, and other technologies, and will coordinate student learning activities with schools and universities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing education program; bachelor’s in nursing preferred.
• Ten years of nursing practice, including at least five years in Hospice education or leadership.
• CPR Instructor Certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications for creating instructional documents, course curriculums, orientation materials, and visual aids.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate education for home care, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with home care managers to orient and develop staff and integrate new colleagues.
• Serve as informatics liaison and educate on technologies (Epic, LMS, etc.).
• Coordinate student learning activities with schools, colleges, and universities.

Education

Bachelor's in Nursing (preferred)

Ten years of nursing practice (five in Hospice education/leadership)

CPR Instructor Certification (preferred)
