Job summary

Trinity Health At Home in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Home Care Hospice Educator responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating education for home care, ensuring regulatory compliance and collaboration with home care managers to orient and mentor staff.

You will lead as informatics liaison, training on technologies (Epic EHR, LMS, computer systems) and coordinate student learning with schools and universities; strong communication and nursing leadership required.

Qualifications

: Graduate of an approved Nursing education program, bachelor’s in nursing is preferred.
: Ten years of nursing practice, including five in Hospice education or leadership.
: Preferred CPR Instructor Certification.
: Proficient in Microsoft applications for creation of instructional documents, course curriculums, orientation materials and related visual aides.
: Must possess accurate and clear oral & written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assess, develop, implement and evaluate education for home care with emphasis on regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with home care managers to orient and develop new and current staff.
Serve as informatics liaison and provide education on technologies (computer, Epic EHR, LMS).
Coordinate student learning activities with schools, colleges and universities.
