Job summary

Affinity Health Management seeks a Community Liaison to drive organization marketing by building relationships with customers and referral sources, and representing the company at community events in the New Haven area.

You will collaborate with the Administrator to implement marketing initiatives, monitor budget adherence, and develop plans to reach volume projections while promoting Continuum Care Hospice, LLC as a high-quality provider.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field preferred.
• At least three (3) years’ experience in health care marketing management preferably in hospice care operations.
• Ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
• Demonstrates good communications skills, negotiation skills, and public relations skills.
• Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities
• Health care marketing preferred in hospice or home care.

Responsibilities

• Conducts daily marketing activities including collaborating with the Administrator in establishment and implementation of marketing initiatives.
• Monitors allocation of resources according to budgetary limitations.
• Continuously conducts market assessments and develops a comprehensive marketing plan designed to meet budgetary volume projections.
• Employs marketing and promotional initiatives to achieve budgetary volume projections.
• Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with current and potential referral and payer sources.
• Builds and monitors community, customer, and patient perceptions of CONTINUUM CARE HOSPICE, LLC as a high-quality provider of services.
• Contributes to organizations strategic planning including identifying opportunities for additional or improved services to address customer needs.
• Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of CONTINUUM CARE HOSPICE, LLC markets including government agencies, major payer groups, key referral sources, and competitor’s market positioning.
• Maintains comprehensive working knowledge in the field of marketing and shares information with appropriate organization personnel.
• Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of community resources and assists customers in accessing community resources should services not be provided by CONTINUUM CARE HOSPICE, LLC.
• Monitors and reports cost effectiveness of marketing efforts.
