Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a proactive business development professional in Texas to grow our referral network and strengthen partnerships with physicians, hospitals and senior care facilities.

You will educate referral sources and families on our home health and hospice programs, support post-acute transitions, and strive for exceptional patient and referral source satisfaction through proactive collaboration and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, marketing, or related field (or nursing/therapy/social work graduate).
• Minimum two years in healthcare business development, community relations, marketing, or sales.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing Medicare home health and hospice.
• Valid state driver's license and automobile liability insurance.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; fluent English.
• Home health or hospice experience preferred; established referral relationships desirable.
• Reliable transportation and in-office presence required (except remote roles).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship manager between Enhabit and referral sources (physicians, hospitals, health systems, and other providers).
• Support referral growth by educating sources, patients, families, and partners about services and program requirements.
• Help navigate post-acute care transitions to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Promote high-quality care transitions and strong referral source relationships.
