Job summary

Legacy Hospice is seeking a self-driven Community Liaison to the Richmond area to build trust-based relationships with physicians, referral sources, and healthcare partners while promoting our hospice services.

The role focuses on census growth by increasing awareness and preference for hospice care and serving as a compassionate representative of the team. Strong communication and healthcare marketing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years of sales/marketing experience in healthcare.
• Hospice/palliative marketing experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in the medical community.
• Serve as a passionate advocate for hospice services through regular outreach.
• Grow presence by positioning Legacy Hospice as the provider of choice in the service area.
• Drive referral growth through visits with physicians, hospital discharge planners, SNFs, social workers, and other professionals.
• Lead initial conversations about hospice care and facilitate consent with empathy.
