Job summary

Altus Hospice in the Waco area seeks a self-driven Community Liaison to build relationships with referral sources, physicians, and healthcare partners, driving census growth while promoting compassionate hospice services.

The role is Monday–Friday, 8 am–4:30 pm, with a base salary range of $66,000–$83,000 plus uncapped commission; benefits include health/dental/vision, PTO, holidays, tuition assistance, wellness programs, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Minimum two years of sales/marketing experience in healthcare.
• Hospice/palliative marketing experience strongly preferred.
• Skilled at establishing/maintaining relationships with physicians and staff to ensure understanding of services.
• Must be willing to drive with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, including physicians and healthcare partners, to strengthen collaboration and trust.
• Serve as a passionate advocate for hospice services by conducting regular outreach.
• Grow presence by positioning our hospice as provider of choice across the service area and exceed growth goals.
• Drive referral growth through regular visits with referring physicians, hospital discharge planners, and other healthcare professionals.
• Support patients and families during critical moments by guiding initial conversations and explaining services with empathy.
