Job summary

Altus Hospice is seeking a self-driven Community Liaison to cover the Alice area, building trust with referral sources, physicians, and healthcare partners to grow census and promote hospice services. The role focuses on community outreach and representing our compassionate care philosophy.

The position includes Monday–Friday hours (8 am–5 pm) and a territory that includes Alice and surrounding communities. A Bachelor’s degree and healthcare sales experience are preferred; driving is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred; additional experience may substitute.
• Minimum two years of sales/marketing experience in healthcare.
• Hospice/palliative marketing experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture relationships with physicians and healthcare partners to strengthen collaboration.
• Serve as a passionate advocate for hospice services through regular outreach reflecting compassionate, high-quality care.
• Grow presence by positioning Altus Hospice as provider of choice across the service area to meet growth goals.
• Drive referral growth through regular, intentional visits with referring physicians, hospital discharge planners, SNFs, social workers, and other professionals.
• Support patients and families during critical moments by leading initial conversations about hospice care with empathy.
