Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for inpatient hospice care at the West Georgia Medical campus. This PRN role supports compassionate, patient-centered care and flexibility to meet hospice needs.

We require active Georgia CNA licensure, BLS certification, and strong empathy. You will work with the care team to provide basic care, vital signs, and comfort measures, documenting promptly and ensuring dignity in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Active GA CNA license or eligibility with GA registry.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong clinical foundation and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate patient/resident care according to the Plan of Care.
• Assist with ADLs, vital signs, and basic comfort measures.
• Deliver safe, compassionate care in collaboration with the nursing team.
• Document care and notify nurse of any changes promptly.
