Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a committed CNA for the Night shift (7p-7a) in inpatient hospice at the West Georgia Facility in LaGrange, GA. The Care Partner works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse to promote a positive patient experience and assist with daily living activities and comfort measures.

Minimum GA CNA certification required with at least 1 year of related care experience; strong communication, compassion, and teamwork are essential for this role in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and speaking English required.
• Basic computer skills expected.

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Excellence in customer service by partnering with the healthcare team, patient and family.
• Provide resident care according to the written Plan of Care and assist with ADLs.
• Take vital signs and document findings; report abnormal findings to RN/Charge Nurse.
• Stock supplies and transport medications as needed; perform basic housekeeping in patient area.
• Provide emotional support to residents and families; observe religious/cultural preferences.
• Ensure safety by keeping environment organized and adhering to policies.
