Job summary

Walla Walla Community Hospice seeks a dedicated Hospice Aide (CNA) to deliver compassionate personal care under RN supervision. You will support patient comfort, safety, and quality of life while working with a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

The role requires flexibility for per-diem shifts, including weekends and evenings, with travel across WWCH’s service area. A WA/OR CNA license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English as required for business.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and team members.
• Ability to think clearly and make sound judgments in caregiving situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding.
• Provide mobility assistance and transfers.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to the nurse case manager.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to patients and families.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Perform light homemaker duties to support comfort and safety.
• Assist with supply management and field-related tasks.
