Job summary

Bristol Hospice - Sacramento Llc in Roseville, California, is seeking an experienced Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our day-shift team. You will work under a Registered Nurse, providing personal care and comfort to patients in their homes within the Sacramento, Roseville, and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate is CNA certified in California with HHA in good standing, 1 year hospice/community health experience preferred, valid driver's license, CPR, and willingness to clear

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing.
• California residents require current Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
• One year of hospice/community health experience preferred.
• Minimum 75 hours of classroom and supervised training.
• Licensed driver with insured vehicle.
• Willingness to submit to background checks and maintain CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care and attend to patient requests promptly.
• Provide patient and family with clear, confidential communication.
• Meet safety needs and use equipment properly.
• Assist with meals, feeding, and hygiene tasks as assigned.
• Support mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Record vital signs when ordered and observe changes to report.
• Maintain clean, orderly living areas and document care per plan.
