Job summary
Bristol Hospice Fresno is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our compassionate team in Fresno, CA. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, performing personal care and daily living activities, while ensuring patient comfort and safety in the home setting.
The ideal candidate is a California-certified CNA with an active HHA certification, CPR, and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
Qualifications
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing.
- California regulation requires CNA in good standing and HHA certification.
- 75 hours of classroom and supervised training required.
- Valid driver’s license with insured vehicle.
- Current CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform personal care needs and attend to patient requests promptly.
- Provide patient and family with respectful communication and confidentiality.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living.
- Support with meals, nutrition, and hydration as assigned.
- Monitor and report patient condition to Case Manager.
- Maintain clean and safe living environment for patients.
