Job summary

Absolute Hospice, Inc. in Massillon, OH is seeking a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant to join our hospice team on a full-time, daytime schedule Monday through Friday.

You will provide compassionate care to patients in home settings, supporting comfort and quality of life for individuals at the end of life. Qualifications

• One year of patient-care experience in hospital, nursing facility or similar environment.
• CNA license and competency in direct patient care during probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care tasks and attend to patient requests promptly.
• Provide communication with patients and families with confidentiality and empathy.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, and daily living activities as assigned.
• Assist in dressing, ambulation, and positioning.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Take and record vital signs and monitor patient condition.
• Observe skin condition and report any tissue breakdown.
• Report significant changes to the Case Manager and coordinate with care team.
