Job summary

Absolute Hospice, Inc. is seeking a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant to join our hospice team in Massillon, OH. This full-time role offers day shifts Monday–Friday, caring for patients in their homes or care facilities as needed.

The hospice aide will perform personal care, monitor patient conditions, and support families with compassionate communication within ethical care standards. Prior CNA licensure in Ohio and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• One year of patient care experience in hospital or nursing facility.
• Current Ohio CNA license and ability to demonstrate competency in direct care.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license with safe driving record and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care tasks and attend to patient requests promptly.
• Provide baths, oral hygiene, shampoos, and change bed linens as assigned.
• Assist with feeding and daily living activities as directed by the nurse.
• Take and record vital signs and observe patient condition.
