Job summary

Absolute Hospice, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Hospice team. This full-time position provides day shifts Monday through Friday, caring for hospice patients in home and facility settings.

Requirements include a current Ohio CNA license, one year of patient care experience, a valid Ohio driver’s license with insurance, and completion of certified CNA courses. Join a compassionate team delivering dignified, ethical care.

Qualifications

• Certified and licensed CNA required or in progress.
• One year direct patient care experience.
• Current Ohio CNA license.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care after assignment and attend to requests promptly.
• Provide patient and family with respectful communication and confidentiality.
• Assist with baths, hygiene, shampoos, and changing bed linen as needed.
• Assist in dressing and undressing patients as assigned.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the Case Manager.
