Job summary

Absolute Hospice, Inc. is seeking a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant to join our hospice team in Canton, OH. This full-time role covers Monday through Friday daytime shifts, providing compassionate patient care at home or in patient settings.

Applicants must hold an Ohio CNA license, a high school diploma with English and math coursework, and have at least one year of direct patient care experience. A valid driver’s license is preferred for patient visits.

Qualifications

• Certified and licensed CNA with Ohio license.
• High school diploma or equivalent with English/math coursework.
• At least one year of direct patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care and attend to patient requests promptly.
• Communicate respectfully with patients and families, ensuring confidentiality.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, and daily living activities.
• Take and record vital signs and monitor patient condition.
• Assist with ambulation, mobility, and comfort measures as instructed.
• Coordinate with hospice team and report changes to the Case Manager.
