Job summary

Absolute Hospice, Inc. is seeking a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Hospice team on a full-time basis.

The role supports patients at home under hospice care, with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and a dedicated team focused on compassionate, ethical care. Minimum requirements include a valid CNA license, one year of patient-care experience in healthcare settings, and a Ohio driver’s license with a clean record.

Qualifications

• One year of patient-care experience in a hospital, nursing facility, or similar setting.
• Current CNA license and demonstrated competency in direct patient care during probation.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license with safe driving record and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care tasks as assigned and respond promptly to patient requests.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families, maintaining confidentiality and ethical care.
• Provide bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, and linen changes as needed.
• Assist with dressing and undressing patients as directed.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding.
• Take and record vital signs and monitor patient condition.
• Observe skin condition and report changes to the Case Manager.
