Job summary

Amedisys is a leading home health and hospice provider offering a full-time daytime role as a hospice aide. You will deliver personal care to patients in their homes, follow care plans, and assist with daily activities while ensuring safety and dignity for patients and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current state CNA certification/registration as per state requirements.
• CNA experience within the last two years.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Applies safety principles and proper body mechanics during personal care tasks.
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals and assists with feeding.
• Performs homemaking and environmental services as assigned.
• Observes, reports, and documents changes in patient's status to the nurse.
