Job summary
Ascend Hospice & Palliative Care PA seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant for Lancaster County, Millersville & Landisville areas. The role supports residents with daily living tasks, mobility, and basic care, under the supervision of a Hospice Nurse.
Candidates must have a valid CNA license; hospice or home health experience is preferred, and willingness to travel is required. Competitive benefits and a supportive team culture are offered.
Qualifications
- Must hold a State Certified CNA license.
- Experience in hospice or home health is preferred.
- No experience required but 1 year preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide or assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, grooming, mouth, skin care, and nails.
- Assist with toileting, positioning, and transfers; frequent turning.
- Assist with prescribed exercises and ROM per training.
- Perform light housekeeping; change bed linens and handle patient laundry.
- Assist with meals and feeding.
- Take measurements (temp, pulse, respirations) as supervised.
- Report changes to the Hospice Nurse and document appropriately.
- Assist or remind patient to take medications per regulatory guidelines.
