Journey Hospice in Central PA is seeking a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate personal care and light housekeeping to hospice patients in homes, facilities, or inpatient units. The role supports an established care plan under RN supervision and collaborates with the Hospice IDT.

Qualified candidates have PA CNA certification, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Pennsylvania required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and courteous interaction with patients, caregivers, colleagues, and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and light housekeeping to terminally ill patients in various settings.
• Participate as a member of the Hospice Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).
• Observe, report, and document patient observations and care performed.
• Document services promptly according to the patient’s care plan.
