Qualifikationen

• Current state CNA certification or registration.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance.

Aufgaben

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Applies safety principles and proper body mechanics during personal care.
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals and assists with feeding.
• Performs homemaking and environmental services as assigned.
• Observes and reports changes in patient status; report to the primary nurse if unable to perform a task.
• Follows written instructions for personal care from the registered nurse.
• Assists patients with prescribed exercises as instructed by nurse or therapist.
• Performs and records simple urine tests for sugar, acetone, and albumin.
• Other duties as assigned.
