Amedisys is seeking a compassionate Hospice Aide for PRN day shifts in the United States, South Carolina area. The role offers flexible, mission-driven work with competitive pay between $17.00 and $19.00 per hour plus a comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees.

Responsibilities include providing personal care, assisting with activities of daily living, meal prep, homemaking, and following care plans under a registered nurse supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CNA certification/registration.
• CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and liability insurance.

Responsabilités

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Applies safety principles and proper body mechanics to personal and supportive care such as ambulation, transfers, ROM, positioning, and household chores.
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals and assists with feeding.
• Performs homemaking and other environmental services as assigned.
• Observes, reports, and documents changes in patient status; report to the primary nurse as needed.
• Follows written instructions for personal care prepared by a registered nurse.
• Assists patients with prescribed exercises as instructed by nurse or therapist.
• Performs and records simple urine tests for sugar, acetone, and albumin.
• Other duties as assigned.

Formation

High school diploma or equivalent

Current state CNA certification/registration

CPR certification

Driver's license, liability insurance
