Amedisys Home Health in Newnan, GA seeks a Hospice Aide to deliver compassionate, in-home care. You will assist patients with mobility, daily living tasks, meal preparation, and homemaking while following the care plan under a registered nurse's supervision.

We offer competitive pay of $18–$20 per hour, a $1,000 sign-on bonus, and benefits including PPO or HSA medical plans with telehealth, PTO, wellness rewards, mental health support, a 401(k) with company match, and family caregiver leave.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current state certification (or registration) as a nurse assistant per state requirements.
• CNA experience within the last two years.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and liability insurance.

Mansioni

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Applies safety principles and proper body mechanics in personal and supportive care tasks.
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals, assists with feeding, and performs light homemaking.
• Observes, reports, and documents changes in patient status and informs the nurse.
• Follows written instructions for care as provided by a registered nurse.
• Assists patients with prescribed exercises as instructed by a nurse or therapist.
• Performs simple urine tests for sugar, acetone, and albumin.
• Other duties as assigned.
