Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a hospice aide in Newnan, GA to provide compassionate in-home care. This full-time role offers day shifts, a $1,000 sign-on bonus, and a benefits package designed to support patients at home with safety-focused personal care and daily living assistance.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, meal preparation, and documenting changes in patient status for the supervising nurse. Must have CNA credentials and CPR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current state CNA certification/registration.
• CNA experience within the last two years.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Applies safety principles and proper body mechanics during personal care tasks.
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals and assists with feeding.
• Performs homemaking and other environmental services as assigned.
• Observes and reports changes in patient status to the nurse.
