Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a hospice aide in Kennesaw, GA. This full-time daytime role involves providing compassionate in-home care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living, and supporting the care plan under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current state CNA certification and CPR certification.
• CNA experience within the last two years.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Assists with ambulation, transfers, and positioning according to plan of care.
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals and assists with feeding.
• Performs homemaking and environmental tasks as assigned.
• Observes and reports changes in patient status to the nurse.
