Care Comfort Hospice in Beaver, PA is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide direct patient care under the supervision of skilled nursing staff. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, monitoring patient status, and maintaining confidentiality while delivering compassionate care.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans and offer emotional support to patients and families in a hospice setting.

About the Role:

As a Certified Nurse Assistant at Care Comfort Hospice, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of our skilled nursing staff. Your duties will include:

• Assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming


• Monitoring and reporting changes in patient condition to nursing staff


• Maintaining patient confidentiality and promoting a positive and respectful patient care environment


• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans


• Providing emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in the state of Pennsylvania


• 1+ year of experience as a CNA, preferably in a hospice or healthcare setting


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
