Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking a Manager of Clinical Services (MCS) to act as the nurse administrator for the local branch, leading the clinical care team and ensuring coordinated, high-quality hospice services within the community.

The MCS will hire and manage staff, guide clinicians, and foster a positive caregiving culture focused on quality of life for patients and families. The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse with strong leadership, strategic planning, and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state(s) of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Ability to pass background, consumer report and drug test.
• Valid State Driver’s License, access to an automobile.
• Preferred 1+ years management experience, 2+ years nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch clinical operations and staff.
• Hire, evaluate, and terminate personnel.
• Coordinate care with Medical Director and clinicians.
• Review patient cases and ensure quality hospice care.
• Maintain patient records and reporting.
• Participate in on-call duties and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Contribute to quality assessment and performance improvement.
• Develop and implement continuing education for staff.
