Job summary

Tapestry Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking an Assistant Director of Clinical Services (RN) to lead nursing operations in the Ringgold/Trenton territory. You will supervise clinical staff, support quality initiatives, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with the care team to deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care.

The role requires GA RN licensure, hospice experience, CPR certification, and strong EMR/office software skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Georgia required.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience; hospice/palliative care preferred.
• Knowledge of hospice philosophy, Medicare/Medicaid, and accreditation standards.
• CPR certification through AHA required.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.
• Proficiency with EMR, Word, Excel, Outlook; office equipment.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
• Physical ability to bend, lift, and carry up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Establishes, implements, and evaluates goals for hospice clinical services.
• Assist in directing nursing operations and supervising clinical staff.
• Support quality initiatives and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Oversee nursing operations in Ringgold/Trenton territory; staff development.
• Address patient care concerns and maintain relationships with patients, families, and partners.
• Provide leadership coverage and support across service area as needed.
