Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Master’s degree in hospice preferred.
• Three years of management experience in hospice or related health care.
• Registered nurse in the State of Colorado.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
• Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations and Joint Commission standards.
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured and in good working order.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and oversees all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical organization personnel.
• Provides guidance and counseling to coordinators and Clinical Supervisors to assist them in improving hospice care services.
• Assists Clinical Supervisors in managing clinical teams and planning.
• Assists in the orientation and continuing education programs for organization personnel.
• Assists in budgeting and interpreting operational indicators for staffing and finances.
• Promotes hospice referrals in the health care community.
• Acts as Executive Director/Administrator in the absence of the ED/Administrator.
