Job summary

Residential Home Health and Hospice in Northbrook, IL seeks a compassionate Director of Clinical Services to partner with field staff and leaders, and with hospital teams to provide the best support to the patients we serve. You will oversee clinical operations and drive standards of care across entities.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN or BSN with current state license.
• Minimum of 2 years of Hospice experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisor experience.
• Familiarity with Hospice regulations.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage project/program development from start to finish.
• Supervise and develop the Clinical Supervisors.
• Oversee global needs of After Hours for all Hospice entities/branches.
• Define scope, goals and deliverables with VP of Clinical Operations.
• Develop, organize and recruit new business.
• Participate in budget preparation for program development.
• Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement teams.
• Analyze organization-wide data and report to VP.
• Identify areas for improvement and report systematically.
• Work with teams to set aims and test changes.
• Provide coaching to teams.
• Ensure team documents progress and activities.
• Review policies to ensure staff can meet goals.
• Participate in review and appraisal of total agency program.
• Supervise job classifications and descriptions of professional personnel.
• Establish staffing patterns and coordinate care.
• Lead standards for quality patient care.
