Job summary

Casa de la Luz East Valley, part of LHC Group and within the Optum family, seeks a Clinical Director to support the Executive Director in clinical oversight of hospice services and supervision of care teams. You will ensure regulatory compliance, drive quality of care, and oversee day-to-day clinical operations, education, and governance activities while maintaining profitability and staff retention.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Current Driver's License and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for compliance with hospice regulations, laws, policies and procedures including Medicare/Medicaid hospice requirements.
• Ensures hospice personnel are qualified and onsite during business hours with after-hours availability as needed.
• Directs day-to-day clinical operations, including training, regulatory compliance, interdisciplinary teamwork, growth, and education on hospice services.
• Oversees patient care activities to ensure compliance with nursing and medical standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Promotes hospice education to referral sources and the community; collaborates with hospice physicians and community physicians to drive clinical excellence.
