Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license required and valid.
• Three years of hospice experience preferred.
• One year of nursing supervisor experience.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical operations with the Director to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
• Supervise staff and provide training resources to achieve employee goals.
• Participate in QAPI activities and report quality benchmarks.
• Assist with in-service education for hospice aides/CNAs.
• Support admissions within company guidelines and coordinate clinical visits.
• Participate in on-call rotation for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to support day‑to‑day operations.
• Mentor new hospice nurses and aides on protocols and best practices.
• Maintain confidentiality and participate in risk management activities.
• Carry a caseload of 8–10 patients depending on site needs.
