Job summary

Affinity Hospice is seeking a Clinical Manager (RN) in Birmingham, AL to lead and coordinate high-quality hospice care. The role directs clinical services, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives staff performance while partnering with community partners to expand patient referrals.

The ideal candidate has RN licensure, a Bachelor's in Nursing, and at least three years of leadership experience in hospice settings, with strong operational and staff development skills.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current licensure in the state.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• Three years of leadership management experience in a hospice or related health care organization.
• Two years' experience in a direct Hospice field.
• Ability to supervise and direct professional administrative personnel.
• Must have valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and auto liability insurance.
• Knowledge of hospice Medicare, state regulations, ACHC, and JCAHO standards (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, deliver and manage patient care across clinical staff.
• Interpret operational indicators to optimize staffing and resources.
• Hire, evaluate and oversee clinical personnel.
• Ensure compliance of clinical notes, orders, and processes with policies and regulations.
• Oversee orientation, in-services and continuing education for staff.
• Collaborate with intake and marketing to accept new referrals.
