Job summary

Affinity Hospice Holdings, LLC is seeking a Clinical Manager in Birmingham, AL. The RN-led role directs patient care across clinical staff, ensuring quality, compliant hospice services and effective operations.

You will supervise clinical personnel, manage staffing, and liaise with community partners to promote referrals while maintaining high patient care standards in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current licensure in the state of assignment.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• Three years of leadership/management experience in hospice or related health care.
• Two years' experience in direct hospice field.
• Ability to supervise professional administrative personnel.
• Ability to market and interact tactfully with customers and community.
• Valid driver's license, transportation, and auto liability insurance.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients and perform chart audits when needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, deliver, and manage patient care across clinical staff.
• Oversee content and compliance of clinical notes, orders, and processes.
• Participate in staff orientation, in-services, and education programs.
• Assist in hiring, evaluating, and termination of clinical personnel.
• Ensure quality, safe hospice services and regulatory compliance.
• Promote hospice referrals within the health care community.
• Manage on-call, weekend, and vacation schedules for clinical staff.
• Respond to patient complaints with priority to customer service.
• Collect data for PI program and report quarterly results.
