Job summary

Affinity Hospice is seeking a Clinical Manager to lead and coordinate hospice clinical services across the organization. You will oversee patient care, supervise clinicians, and ensure compliance with regulations while driving quality and efficiency.

The role requires strong leadership, nursing expertise, and the ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patients and families throughout the care continuum.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current licensure to practice in the state where the agency is located.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing from an NLN-accredited program.
• Three years of leadership/management experience in hospice or related health care.
• Two years of direct hospice experience.
• Ability to supervise professional/administrative personnel.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Oversees clinical notes, orders and processes produced by clinical staff.
• Coordinates assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient and family care.
• Participates in hiring, evaluating and terminating clinical personnel.
• Plans in-services and continuing education for staff.
• Ensures quality and safe delivery of hospice services and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinates on-call, weekend and vacation schedules for clinical staff.
• Responds to patient complaints with customer service as top priority.
• Works with intake and marketing to accept new referrals.
