Job summary

Cadre Family Companies in Texas seeks a Hospice Chaplain / Volunteer Coordinator to provide compassionate spiritual care to patients and families while recruiting, training, and supporting hospice volunteers. You will conduct spiritual assessments, lead rituals, provide bereavement support, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, person-centered care.

Travel within the service area may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in biblical studies, theology, counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
• At least 1 year of spiritual care or chaplaincy experience in healthcare or hospice.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual support to patients and families facing end-of-life issues.
• Conduct spiritual assessments and provide appropriate spiritual care and support.
• Offer bereavement support and rituals/ceremonies.
• Recruit, train, and manage hospice volunteers.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support spiritual and emotional needs.
• Document and report on spiritual care and volunteer activities.
