Job summary

Cadre Family Companies is seeking a Hospice Chaplain / Volunteer Coordinator to provide compassionate spiritual care to patients and families while recruiting, training, and supporting hospice volunteers.

The role requires a degree in theology or related fields, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to excellence. Travel within the service area and collaboration with the care team are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in biblical studies, theology, counseling, psychology, social work, or related degree.
• Minimum of one year of experience providing spiritual care, chaplaincy, pastoral care, or counseling in a healthcare or hospice setting.
• Clean driving record, valid driver's license, and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual care and support to patients and families facing end-of-life issues.
• Conduct spiritual assessments and provide appropriate spiritual care and support.
• Offer bereavement support to patients and families.
• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers who provide support to hospice patients and their families.
• Place volunteers based on patient and family needs and provide supervision.
