Job summary

Cadre Family Companies is seeking a Hospice Chaplain/Volunteer Coordinator to provide spiritual care to patients and families at end of life while recruiting, training, and supporting hospice volunteers.

You will conduct spiritual assessments, lead rituals, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure compassionate, holistic care. Travel within the service area may be required. Join a mission-driven team delivering meaningful care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in biblical studies, theology, counseling, psychology, social work, or related degree.
• Minimum of one year of experience providing spiritual care, chaplaincy, pastoral care, or counseling in a healthcare or hospice setting.
• Clean driving record, valid driver's license, and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual support to patients and families facing end-of-life issues.
• Conduct spiritual assessments and provide appropriate spiritual care.
• Offer bereavement support and rituals.
• Recruit, train and manage hospice volunteers.
• Coordinate volunteer placement and supervision.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on spiritual and emotional needs of patients and families.
• Support patient and family services through volunteer involvement.
• Develop community outreach and engagement related to hospice care.
