Job summary

Residential Home Health and Hospice is hiring a Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in-home care in Evanston, IL. Eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus. The role includes ADL assistance, team collaboration, and compassionate hospice care in patients' homes.

Requirements include an active CNA certificate, at least one year in healthcare (hospice preferred), and a valid driver's license for travel within the territory. 40 hours per week in a full-time position.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year healthcare experience, Hospice experience preferred
• Due to field-based nature, valid driver’s license and ability to drive ~20% of workday

Responsibilities

• Support patients and caregivers by reinforcing care plan and offering emotional support

What You'll Do:

• Respond promptly to patient needs with empathy and attentiveness and accurately document care provided in the EMR
• Work independently, but never alone
