Job summary

Amedisys seeks a Certified Massage Therapist to provide compassionate massage therapy services to hospice patients on a PRN basis in Savannah, GA. The role focuses on comfort, pain relief, and tailored plans aligned with patient needs and physician orders.

You will document care per regulatory requirements, participate in quality improvement activities, and collaborate with the care team to support patient comfort and dignity in end-of-life care.

Qualifications

• Certified massage therapist credential from an accredited institute.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle is required.

Responsibilities

• Develops, coordinates and provides an organized massage therapy program.
• Provides massage therapy in alignment with the needs of the patient and physical limitations.
• Obtains orders from physician and develops a plan of care.
• Completes all documentation as required by the organization in compliance with legal, government, and accreditation requirements.
• Participates in Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement Activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
