Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a PRN massage therapist to assess and deliver hospice massage therapy, coordinating with the care team to support comfort and quality of life for patients.

You will document treatments, obtain physician orders, and adjust plans of care in line with patient needs and regulations.

The role requires reliable transportation and a state license as a massage therapist; flexible scheduling may apply.

Qualifications

• Certified massage therapist from an established institute.
• Licensed driver with a reliable insured automobile.

Responsibilities

• Develops, coordinates and provides an organized massage therapy program.
• Provides massage therapy in alignment with the needs of the patient and physical limitations.
• Obtains orders from physician and develops a plan of care.
• Completes all documentation as required by the organization in compliance with legal, government, and accreditation requirements.
