Job summary

VNS Health seeks a Nurse Manager to lead the hospice care team within the VNS Health Hospice Care Program, including After Hours. You will coordinate an interdisciplinary team to assess and address medical, social, emotional and spiritual needs under the Interdisciplinary Plan of Care, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

You will manage daily operations, supervise staff, monitor productivity and budget, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and support patient and family care.

Qualifications

• Must hold NY RN license and registration.
• BSN from NLN-accredited program or equivalent.
• At least 3 years hospice clinical experience; management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate interdisciplinary hospice team.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with hospice standards.
• Oversee day-to-day department operations and budget input.
• Recruit, supervise, and develop staff.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
