Job summary

Grace Healthcare Services is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to develop and maintain schedules for Home Health Aides and Continuous Care nurses. The role coordinates overall activity and provides counseling when appropriate to ensure optimal patient care across census needs.

The coordinator will work with RN Case Managers to determine ideal aide placement, balance hours, minimize external agency usage, and manage scheduling tools such as Brightree and Allscripts.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years related work experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
• Able to multitask efficiently.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and distribute daily schedules for Home Health Aides and Continuous Care nurses.
• Coordinate overall activity and initiate counseling when appropriate.
• Consult with RN Case Managers on patient needs to determine aide placement.
• Develop schedules that maximize regular hours and minimize outside agency usage.
• Review daily device log and report discrepancies.
• Submit weekend and Monday schedules to On Call/Triage for approval.
• Assist with Aides New Hire Orientation and review proposed schedules.
• Participate in quarterly Aide In-Service meetings and Team meetings.
