Gentiva is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant to cultivate referral partnerships and advocate for patients across healthcare networks. You will educate clinicians, identify new referral opportunities, and drive growth through strategic marketing and event participation.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, consultative marketing, and independent collaboration with clinical and operational teams to improve quality of life for patients and families.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years in healthcare sales, business development, or referral marketing.
• Strong relationships with physicians, hospitals, SNFs or home health professionals.
• Experience in hospice, palliative care, or home health is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
• Sensitive to the needs of terminally ill patients and families.
• Proven track record of meeting admissions and census targets.

Responsabilidades

• Educate, inform, and inspire confidence in our services so the right patients are referred at the right time.
• Identify new referral opportunities by calling on hospitals, home health agencies, SNFs, assisted living communities, clinics, and physician offices.
• Engage in conversations with healthcare professionals about patient needs and hospice options.
• Plan and execute strategic marketing initiatives to increase awareness and drive referral growth.
• Represent Gentiva at community events, professional associations, and educational in-services.
• Serve as a resource and advocate for patients and families, ensuring understanding of hospice options.
