ExcelaCare Hospice - Las Cruces seeks a Director of Healthcare Services to oversee clinical and administrative operations within our hospice division. You will ensure compassionate, compliant patient care and drive operational efficiency while leading a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires strategic planning, staff development, and strong relationships with physicians and referral sources to grow patient referrals and maintain high care standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5 years as a Registered Nurse in Home Care; minimum 3 years in hospice management leadership.
• Current State RN license; CPR; driver’s license and auto liability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate clinical and administrative operations of hospice care.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of nurses, social workers, and chaplains.
• Recruit, train and supervise staff while ensuring regulatory compliance.
