Job summary

ExcelaCare Home Health and Hospice in Plainview, TX seeks a Director of Healthcare Services to oversee clinical and administrative operations for the hospice division. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive strategies to deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care while maintaining operational efficiency.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and excellent communication to collaborate with physicians, staff, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5 years RN experience in home care with 3 years in management.
• Current State RN license; hospice/palliative care certifications preferred; CPR; driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the hospice program in alignment with organizational goals.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality care meeting physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Recruit, train, and supervise a multidisciplinary team of nurses, social workers, chaplains, and support staff.
• Foster a collaborative culture that supports professional growth and development.
• Establish and maintain relationships with referring physicians and healthcare stakeholders.
