Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking compassionate Hospice Nursing Aides to assist with personal care tasks for hospice patients, including bathing, dressing, and wound care, under the supervision of registered nurses. You will support families and coordinate with the hospice team to ensure comfort and dignity for patients in their homes.

Must meet state requirements, be registered as a nurse aide, have basic technology skills, and possess a valid driver license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of full-time direct client care in an institutional setting or in home health/hospice within the last five years.
• Must be registered and in good standing on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment.
• Must have basic technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks for hospice patients (bedding, dressing, bathing, hygiene).
• Support families by instructing on basic health-care routines and caring for terminally ill relatives.
• Coordinate with supervising RNs to keep the hospice team informed of patient progress and family needs.
