The role reports to the Area Vice President of Business Development and is responsible for developing territory strategies, optimizing sales performance, and aligning opportunities with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct sales experience in healthcare services (Hospice, Home Health, DME, Palliative Care, or Post-Acute)
• 1+ years of healthcare sales leadership experience
• Proven ability to lead teams, exceed sales quotas, and build referral partnerships
• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Prior experience with HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) preferred
• Top-performer with growth-track record in a metrics-driven environment

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of business development representatives, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management
• Develop territory-specific sales strategies to meet census growth and admission targets
• Identify and cultivate referral sources through community engagement, physician relationships, facility partnerships, and outreach
• Analyze sales data and market trends to improve effectiveness and strategy
• Provide field coaching, joint sales calls, and ongoing professional development to the team
• Maintain relationships with referral partners and pursue new market opportunities
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, and executive teams to onboard new patients smoothly
• Represent the company at community events and partner meetings to promote referrals
• Monitor compliance with sales methodologies and regulatory requirements
• Support short- and long-range growth goals aligned with company initiatives
