Job summary

EverTrue is seeking a compassionate Bereavement Coordinator to support families after a hospice patient’s passing in the St. Louis area. You will connect families with resources, provide emotional support, and coordinate follow-up services within an interdisciplinary hospice team.

Responsibilities include regular contact with bereaved families, maintaining bereavement plans, and ensuring documentation and compliance with hospice policies. This role offers 40 hours per week at $32–$41 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience providing emotional support to individuals and families.
• Background in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide bereavement support to families after a hospice patient passes away.
• Maintain regular contact with bereaved families via calls, letters, and other communications.
• Coordinate bereavement services, support groups, and resources as needed.
• Document bereavement services and follow-up contacts accurately.
• Collaborate with the hospice interdisciplinary team to ensure appropriate support.
